PC4S coalition members are participating in the MLK Day of Service Event from the City of Murfreesboro!
The Patterson Park Community Center and community partners will provide MLK Day of Service events for residents to engage in opportunities for a “Day on and not a Day Off.”
These activities are supportive of Dr. Martin Luther King’s messaging that was crucial to empowering individuals, as well as strengthening communities, bridging barriers, and creating solutions that work to end social problems around homelessness, unemployment, illiteracy, food insecurity, violence, crime, substance abuse, child abuse, prejudice, and stereotypes.
In support of the MLK Day of Service, Prevention Coalition for Success is accepting items donated for individuals in substance use disorder treatment facilities and recovery support programs. Contact [email protected] to arrange for a drop-off or pick-up of a donation.
